The tree for some reason didnt feel or act like his surrounding neighbors. He was often neglected for being different, he didnt have any fruits or nuts to offer the animals in the forest so even the animals didnt fck with him either.

His leaves were blue unlike the green ones which were common to that area. He lived a pretty lonely and quiet exsistence and had it not been for his blue leaves he would have gone un noticed by the world. Then oneday a bird with the same color feathers as his leaves was running away from a hunter who was trying to catch this beautifull blue bird for her highly prized feathers. The tree quickly shed half of his blue leaves to distract the hunter which mistook the falling leaves for the blue bird. He became frustrated and angrily shot at the tree before hiking back out of the forest. When the bird felt safe she came out and flew over too thank the tree and asked the tree if theres anyway she could repay the tree, he said maybe you could tell me stories of where youve been since i been stuck here my whole life. So she did, and they became very close. The rest his leaves provided a rad camoflouge and shelter for her so she made a nest there and sang for him every night. The Led from the bullets that the hunter shot him with made the trees sick and was slowly being poisoned, and soon after he strarted to lose his blue leaves that kept her sae and hidden. The hunter often came back to the area in search of this bird and only a small patch of leaves remained that hid her nest, but it was taking all his strenght to keep those leaves from falling and revealing where she lived. He loved the bird sooo much but he knew it wasnt safe for her so he told her that she had to go, but she refused, she felt partly responsible for what happened to the tree and she also loved him. He told her not to worry because when trees die they turn to wind and thats why you always see leaves blowing in the wind, and because there wind they get to travel and go where ever they want as a reward for being stuck in one place for there whole lives.So when my last leaf falls i will turn to wind and we can travel together finally and i will be the wind beneath your wings. He felt sad he had tell tell her this but it was nessacery to save her. So with the last of his strength he held that single leaf until a breeze blew thru and he let go of that leaf...She fell off with that breeze safely and with the comfort of thinking they will always be together, Because he is that wind beaneath her wings...<3

Loft shopping is hard

So I'm really stoked about getting a place--- I can't wait to paint the walls hot pink and white. I can't wait to have a dinning area that looks like Alice in Wonderland, or a bed that looks like an old Victorian brothel. (I've bought decor for this new steez too).. But finding a place is easier said than done.. Downtown LA has so many old buildings... of course all renovated. some... not so much. Anyway, I thought I found my new home... ok, so it was hood in the lobby... (I mean, very hood..) but once I was in the unit, I could notice all the upgrades and I appreciated the old "downtown" lifestyle that was downstairs...
***insert-- when I say old downtown lifestyle.. I mean crackheads.
So back to my search on finding a new abode--- I found that place with the straaaaaaange people downstairs.
There were about 3-4 security guards downstairs that I saw and supposedly more in the laundry mat and garage. plus
Parking downstairs was an additional $110. minus
The elevator can only fit up to a full sized bed. minus
Concrete floors and large windows. PLUS PLUS PLUS
Open air so I can see everywhere and everything. PLUSSS
The fact that every week to every other week they removed dead bodies from the facility... uhmmm a BIG FUCKING MINUS

yea, so this pretty cool place happens to be a renovated crackhouse and people are still cracked out there.. They're trying to kick out the old tenants and I guess make it more "cool".. one day I'm sure all the crackheads and lunatics will be long gone from this area.... but the fact is.. no matter how many times you paint a wall or take out carpet... you can't remove death and tormented souls that died there.
so the fact is that tons of people have died in this building from, Godknowswhat--- overdoses, murders and suicides and if anyone knows me AT ALL... they know that I'm scared of ghost. Especially if I'm gonna be alone in this place. I would be sleep deprived, stressed out, scared and lose my damn mind. not a good look.
Thank u to my friend who told me the inside scoop on this building- (I won't say the name of the building or the friend... just cuz..... I dont wanna snitch)

so yeah, still loft hunting... not ghost hunting nor looking for a chic place to get high... hahahahha

I'm getting the chance to re decorate and I'm really excited.. I've ALWAYS loved the bohemian / gypsy theme..

Why? Well, I've always been into OVER-decorating. I'm far from simple designs. I mean.. I buy on impulse. I find myself buying millions of trinkets just cuz they make me squeal "OMG how cute!!!" and what better than the eye-packing, bold sexy colors and comfort of bohemian-gypsy chic home decor?
Plus its about time to take things out the garage and put em to use! :)

I've already bought a couple of things for my new living condition... it's definately up this alley... but mostly pinks, reds and black... and more fantasy...

Think Madonna (of the 80's)- boho/gypsy meets Alice in Wonderland...

I can't wait to waste all my pretty pennies on this project!!!!

I'm going through a lot of changes, and everything is happening a lot faster than I thought it would. I'm going through an early mid-life crisis. I sat around last night with a lot on my mind. I was thinking about all the things I've done. Most of which I did on impulse. When I was younger, I thought doing everything on impulse was the only way to live life the right way. I'm the type of person to over think things and talk myself out of going through with things, so I always thought "sure--- what would I be doing anyway"--
Here I am now trying to clean up my life. Ok- wait, cleaning it up is not the right way of saying this.... I don't know the right word of what I'm feeling. I want to say--- maybe that I am trying to make sense of myself.
I do have a master plan to all this madness, I really do. But I just sat around thinking very basic things. Like, how do I introduce myself? I almost never claim to "model"--- but then when someone runs across my nude pictures, I'm like, "oh yeah, I did do that... but don't get me wrong, I'm not some kind of whore." --- I find myself having to explain or trying to make up for what people might think of me. So what do I say, "Hi, I'm Justene" ---"what do you do"---- "oh this and that"-- sounds suspicious right. yeah, basic things like that, I'm at a loss for words.
Rambling on...
As I'm going through all these new changes... I wonder if all my "impulsive" decisions give me baggage... I hardly have any good friends... and that scares me.

As if that wasn't enough on my mind....

Today, I visited my wonderful cousin Gaile in the hospital. (I love you)--
Dawn, Gaile and I just sat around and giggled for the most part, and of course I made my way into Gaile's bed because I WILL find a way to make myself comfortable.... I stopped and realized... and said "Do you guys realize we are adults?" Gaile nods... and of course... Dawn goes, "you might be, I'm not" ---- hahahha
We just sat around talking about all the changes we're going through and all the moves we're making... but the whole time, I felt like the old us... 7th graders playing in the garage... or even us in 1st and 2nd grade taking bubble baths together for 3 hours straight... yep.. Me Dawn and Gaile. hahahha
I don't really know where this blog is going.. just rambling about how life has seemed to go by fast..... I know I'm still young... but I'd like to be 17 again.

anyway i had a blast in Australia. Sasha Singleton is such a sweet and beautiful woman. Jabbawockeez were funny and amazingly talented... and of course everyone that helped us out there were theee best.

Magic... pretty dope... Famous Stars and Straps was the booth Dawn and i were working at... it was a long 3 days considering I was jet lagged but we were lucky to have the whole crew cracking us up at every moment.

anyway... im going through a big change in my life.... uhm... thats all i can say about that... who knows where i'll end up ... no matter what, im sure im going to be ok :)

I guess summer is ending... but the one thing I love about sunny southern California is that i got about an extra 3 more months of summer. hahah
So my sister Dawn has moved out here. Naturally, she's already has a ticket back to Atlanta for a weekend. I understand though. I remember how it felt like when I first moved. But she WILL be coming back! :) I spend everyday with her.... its so nice to have family around. I know I owe everyone the video.. well.. my desktop computer's webcam sucks.. and Nerv's laptop burned out.. wtf? i dunno... and I dont have a cam on my laptop. I have to wait until nerv's computer gets fixed, but until then... u guys can still send me questions... im more than happy to answer.

I took Vinny to meet his biological parents this past weekend. I was excited and nervous to how they would react to him... Well, when I first got Vincent, they told me he was a chihuahua-yorkie mix... i knew they were wrong! he looks like a papillion! even his doctors say he's a papillion..

anyway... as im walking to Vinny's mom's apartment.. i see a loud but cute papillion.. and i KNEW that was vinny's dad. looks so much like him... and guess what... it was :)

vinny's mom is a cute but shy chihuahua... she sniffed him and nervously went back inside her house... vinny just stood there..

then.. he went to meet his dad.
they told me his father was kind of aggressive... so i stayed close by... but he was actually very nice to vinny. but then.. he started humping vinny.... ugh :(
but bambi is in heat.. maybe thats what he smelt on Vincent.

anyways.. i know a lot of people dont really care about this.. but, these dogs are my life... kind of like how kids that were adopted... i let vinny get the chance to meet his biological parents and let him know hes not a yorkie, but a papillion.

but, im starting to believe my home is haunted... i'll list out the reasons why

1. nerv's experience... as he was closing our bedroom door (no one there but him) he started feeling a little struggle.. not necessarily a struggle.. but he described it like "if someone one was holding the door"-- thats not the bad part.... he closes the door... and as he walks down the stairs... he hears the door open...

2. my experience.. it was early afternoon and just me and nerv in the house. nerv tells me he's gonna get his car detailed, and im like-- cool, im gonna stay home and do my make up. i had no tv on and no music.. which is rare cuz im usually bumping music loud with my bedroom door always locked.. as im doing my make up... i hear the door jiggle like someone is trying to get in.. my thoughts were "ok... nerv forgot something" so i look at the surveillance camera... and NERV'S CAR WASNT THERE! ...... so i thought..... holy fuck... we're being robbed.. i grab a bat and some pepper spray.... i call nerv and ask if anyone's home other than me.. he says no..
--- i dunno why i decided to be bold... but i went out of my room searching for a robber... as i searched the house... no one was there... i knew what i heard.... so what shook the door knob... hmmm

3. the dogs experience... as i was doing laundry... i see vinny starring at the corner of a wall. i look at him.. and think, ugh he's probably starring at a fly or something... no biggie.. 5-7 minutes pass by without me realizing... vinny is near me but still starring at the EXACT same corner.. i go "hey nerv look at vinny he's tripping out... there's NOTHING THERE"--- vinny looks at us like.. nothing and goes straight back to starring at exact same spot... this goes on about 15 minutes before we start intervening.. he wasnt in a daze or anything... it was like he was watching something...

i dunno man... i feel like things has been creepy lately... hmmm dun dun dunnnnn

anyway.. i've gone a little nutso about e.l.f make up. last night i spend $54 on shit from that site.. everything is freakin buck or $3, and i spend 54. sigh... i can see why people get addicted to the home shopping network on tv... tomorrow is the scheduled arrival for my Coastal Scents and i feel its Christmas! i keep checking my fedex tracker hoping its gonna get here early... and now, after this i'll be anticipating another E.L.F package..
I probably don't need all this make up,... but hell, self grooming is one of my obsessions, why not spurge on discount prices. lol
one day i plan to do make up (probably when i quit modeling)--- maybe all this wont expire and will come in handy :)

This is my first time using e.l.f products. i dabbed it on my face while opening it from its packages and so far it seems good. but i'll let you guys know after i try it with a full face of make up on. i just bought 2 pallets, brush set, and a shimmer sampler from coastal scents.. i'll let you know about that too.

at Mai Tai. at this time, we were so tired from drinking and celebrating all day... so we just sat our asses here. lol

so i went to Sephora and decided to try out Kat Von D's make up.. this is what i think

her brush set is pretty awesome.. although i think the angle brush is a little flaccid. it might work for other people, but when i use my angle brush, its for my eyebrows. i like being a little more precise. other than that, they're all good! i lost that first fluffy brush :( i think my doggies have taken it hostage or something.. they tend to do that with my stuff

i love this pallet. its called "Ludwig"-- the colors are DOPE! the only problem i have is that the black already broke and the brown is cracked. i don't take this pallet with me... i havent dropped it, and it already cracked.. hmmm if ur gonna get it, i guess be careful..

yesterday was Micheal's Memorial @ Staples Center.. I thought Stevie Wonder was the most awesome performer... maybe i'm a little partial cuz my dad used to always make us sing a long with his records.

Before you put on mascara, warm your eye lash curler with your hairdryer. Careful not to make it too hot. Then curl away. I don't think its necessary to tell you guys how to curl your lashes. Warming the curler helps curl even the straightest tough to curl lashes! :)

We all grew up to him so I'm sure we all feel equally upset. I was upset about his death as if i knew him... It's just a shame how now, after death, everyone shows how much they loved him. But where was all that support when he was criticized about how he looked and they way he lived his life? Does it really take a death to realize and appreciate how much good can come out of a person?
This goes to show, that in the end, we're not judged by all the crazy or weird things we've done in our lives.... we're appreciated for all the good things.

but its not my nature to get all crazy like that over a few cheap jabs. all that negativity comes from that person's personal issues--now with all this "fake this, naked that---" if it really bothers you that much... why bother taking the time to come to my blog. all that negative energy you put out on me eventually finds its way back to you.-- because no amount of insults to me is gonna make you appear better than me.

I use the tanning bed... once a week usually. and i use self tanner. I like self tanners because even though i'm tan. I love the look self tanner gives me. it's gives naturally brown girls a healthier color and it evens out skintones. DO not use it on your face though... thats what make up is for..

The product I prefer at the moment is L'oreal's Sublime Bronze. I've flipped flopped on what I like but I'm into this right now... It has a instant bronzer in it.. which is inconvenient for most people cuz it stains.. but I use it before i go to bed after aHOT and exfoliating shower.. I usually STAND (not lay) around naked (amd in front of a fan) for a good 30 minutes before I go to bed so I can make sure it dries evenly.. Then I wash it off in the morning :) then wash the sheets cuz its smelly (to me)

Jergen's gradual glow lotion is cool. I prefer instant gratification.. but I wouldnt mind using Jergens on whatever days, if i remember :)

Book Review

My sisters and I are into reading "Best Seller" books. One of my sister finished this one and told me to give it a whirl. I finished the whole book during the laker game last night. hmmm.. to say the least.. this is a VERY easy book to read.... but I didn't enjoy it. Don't get me wrong.. I'm sure he has some very valid points, but I didnt enjoy it at all.

I'm halfway through "The Last Lecture"--- I'm already loving the book and every chapter makes me smile :)

well, nerv and i had a SPECIAL anniversary May 23rd. we have been together longer than a year.. but that was a year mark to something else.. he got me these beautifully hand crafted rings.. and yes... there's diamonds in one of em. i refuse to wear diamonds, but i guess nerv insists these have papers making sure they're non conflict diamonds.. i think they're gorgeous.. <3>

well.... i went to mac to buy more powder and i am no longer c4-- i'm c6

i was advised to try out mac's blush in "springsheen" and i absolutely LOVE it. dolly mix was looking to heavy for me lately.. and with my tan.. this ties in so nice with the rest of my make up

i bought lipglass "sexy yet cute" from mac too. i love it. not lipliner. no lipstick. just that. blends perfectly with my natural lip color

i'm slowly putting lowlights back in my hair.. yes myself.. i can do my own coloring.. this light hair color is just stripping the life out of my hair... i still want highlights.. but not as bright.

and a little tid bit on skin. if you're skin breaks out (like mine) during the season change..(even though its generally hot and dry allll the time out here in california) my skin gets even drier.. i like to put on whatever antiwrinkle cream and/or face cream after i wash my face... then right before i go to sleep... i dab on a little bit of vaseline all over.. its annoying to feel that greasiness while you're awake.. minuse well moisturize while you're in happy land

im about to switch bronzers too. Dawn had told me that kim kardashian's bronzer is from smashbox and has NO shine to it.. which i need.. because i'm getting oily. i'll go pick it up and tell ya how it goes..

Well.. I'm on the cover of American Curves (out in stores, so buy it!) for June 2009. Initially, when I shot it... Barry told me it was for a spread and mayyyybe a cover.. I really didnt get my hopes up to high for the cover simply because this magazine is a FITNESS magazine... and generally all the chicks that are in it or on the cover are SUPER ATHLETIC-- and really.. I was quite shocked to hear I was able to get it!
So as childish as this sound... I wanna give a big "SUCK IT" to everyone (past or present) that called me fat.... cuz this "fat" girl is on the cover of a lady muscle mag... so UGHHHH!

i Frankenstein-ed this bag together.. i found the "bag" part in chinatown SF-- but the handle was ugly as hell and thin plastic.. so i took em off.. i have random chains around the house... and so i decided to knock off chanel and put it on instead... then.. for a more convincing look.. i took a shoe lace and weaved it in.... i've already worn it out.. i love it.. :)

i mix a million colors for eye shadows from Mac, Chanel, Urban Decay, and Ulta. Nyx is still cool

skin products : cocoabutter and baby oil RIGHT after u get out of the shower. dont dry off.. moisturize before your pores close. and take lots of vitamins!!! when u tan in a tanning bed.. cover ur face with a towel. bronze ur face with ur make up instead. u may look fake but at 50 u'll thank urself.

DIET:
i eat lean cuisines all the time.. i barely drink soda, if i do, its caffiene drinks (thats why i prefer 5 hour energy drinks now- less calories)- keep moving throughout ur day... dance while shopping. im not a good dancer but i dont care.. i wiggle to entertain nerv... always tighten up ur tummy even while sitting or walking.. i almost NEVER do situps... (thanks to my dogs and their fantastic potty trained skills.. i wont lay on the floor) but i manage to LOOK like i have ab definition just thru that. if ur gonna drink alcohol... drink vodka tonic with LOTS of lime. tastes like crap, but if u put enough lime, u'll tolerate it.. and u'll get drunk ;)
when i work out in the gym, i do 30 minutes on the elliptical- lift LIGHT weights on my arms with lots of rep.. and 3 rep of HEAVY weights on legs. (i like thicker legs) then sometimes nerv makes me swim for 25 minutes.. then the sauna.

CLOTHES:
im not a shopaholic.. i just cant pass a good bargain. i have TONS of clothes that i'll probably never wear again. dresses i've worn only once and are in perfect condition.

So much has been going on in my life... its hard for me even to remember what has happened. All I can say is this past month has been VERY eventful (positive, negative and some i havent figured out yet). I should read my horoscope or something to figure out when all this madness should end.. but then again, do I want it to end? not that I want drama... but I wouldn't want a mundane lifestyle. I know its hard for my blog readers to understand what the hell i'm talking a bout because I havent had the chance to spill my guts lately... but lets just say, I THOUGHT i knew what people wanted from me. but through certain situations, i know where i stand in some people's hearts and where I should place them in mine. I know what I need to do to be more independent.

so i been working out really hard. i just increased my time on the elliptical to 35 minutes when last week it was 30. im busting my ass trying to get ready for the summer. lifting weights and stuff when all i've done was cardio for awhile.. but im even hungrier now! all i think about is FOOD! its sick actually.. all i do is day dream and talk about different foods i could eat. i guess since my body is working more than before... it wants more food. but i cant.. that would defeat the whole purpose.. unless i was competing for "strong woman" or something.. yeah, no thanks

im endulging in lean cuisines-- which most of the time im sprinkling lemon pepper on it or drenching it in tapatio. that can't thhhhhat bad right? eh.

im sure u seen the weird ass commercials, but old navy is selling my favorite kind of DRESSES.. I've been obsessed with these dresses as long as i can remember-- now called "maxi" dress.. i just called em, long flowy dresses.. i sleep, shop and club in them.. anyway.. they're pretty typical summer/spring wear..
i thought everyone should go out and get all of em.. i just went and got 3. i promised i'd wait till they got on sale.. but it doesnt make a difference :)

Since my computer has been acting up, I can't blog recaps just yet! :(

SO I'm gonna blog about a dream I had last night... I don't always remember my dreams... but when I do, I realize they're pretty far out... so here's last night

White mouse in a red shirt:

I'm riding downhill on a skateboard.. not standing... I was sitting because I was scared of going too fast down hill and busting my ass... so I'm scooting myself along with my feet... when I come across a white mouse in a red t-shirt... it was the cuter kind (like pictured above... ) but it was dirty...
So I decided to scoot faster as I pass this little mouse because I was a little wigged out by it... From my peripheral vision I see this mouse starring at me and had found interest in me. At that point it was basically understood it wanted to hitch a ride on the skateboard. (this mouse had human like personality to match its red t-shirt)
Not paying attention to it I scooted down the hill and realized I was further than where I wanted to be so I wanted to back-track up the hill I just went down... and to my surprise... the mouse was THERE! Zig zagging thru the street, I realized this mouse was persistent on jumping on the skateboard with me. In my mind (in the dream) I'm like.... Stuart Little doesn't exist! why is this little fucker following me!!! So, in fear, I run back up the hill... not realizing how steep it actually was... I couldn't run as fast I wanted to and was scared red-tshirt mouse was at my heels..
But at that very moment I realized why mousey wanted to hitch a ride... It was fucking exhausting getting up that hill...
and that's when I woke up .

I have no idea what this dream means......

I wanted a dog so bad for Vinny mostly. I had a dream about it.. it went like this.. me and dawn were having a conversation about how maybe Vinny is lonely because Wendy is too old to play with.. and I go to dawn (this of course all in my dream) and ask her if he really is loney.. Dawn, being my all-knowing wizard of Oz is like yeah.. imagine a world of dogs... sure its fun.. but its lonely. In the dream i got really upset.. because i know what its like not to have ANY friends.. and i woke up upset still. so i was on a mission for Vinny to have a sister.. :) here she is..

i dont know what it is about late night make overs and me. after bullshitting with dawn till almost midnight (3 am east coast time) i decided to put brown low lights in my head. that blonde-white was on the "crispy.goingbald.eeks" for me.. i also decided to give myself long bangs. hahah against the wishes of dawn too.. she goes, they photograph weird...
even nerv... he was starting to dig my hippie hair. (moreso on my everyday hair... long and flat)

so this is my older hair (only a few days old and had to go.. i realize the roots weren't bleached .. who cares)

Special #2 at Orochon Ramen

Sooo... last night... I shot with Estevan again and afterward we went to Orochon Ramen--- which was on Man vs. Food (travel channel) .. ANYWAY-- supposedly the "special #2" is LAVA-HOT! in the episode, the dude who took the challenge was crying and sweating just to eat the soup.. if you want your picture on the wall, you have to eat it in under 30 minutes. Nerv and Flaco took the challenge.. Nerv tapped out but Flaco finished his.. ouch!!!

So it's 6:30 pm on Friday night... and i feel drained. I ended going to artwalk and **siiigh** drinking my face off again. My reasoning is a little twisted... but I figure, nothing cures a hangover quite like another drink.. So basically the whole night I just yapped Libya's ear off. Its like our friend-date to catch up on what has been going on since last month.. Afterwards we went bar hopping.. and at 3 am... i found myself walking home.. why? because i thought it was a wise way to burn off the alcohol... ugh.. sure?
